By on 13:55

LG Nexus 4 is one of best Android smartphone ever made running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and powered by quad-core processor. If you are bored with the plain and flat Android UI, here is a firmware which runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, fully-themed and virtually bloat-ware free from applications you will never use.
Paranoid Android made an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean custom ROM which allows you to use themes, colourful graphics and enjoy smooth performance unlike the simple and plain Android UI. Unlike with other custom ROMs made for Nexus 4, Paranoid Android fixed the camera and battery issues which was never addressed by others.
Warning: This is a custom ROM which may damage your device. Developers are not liable for any damages which may occur on your Nexus 4. Read and follow the instructions carefully to prevent any errors on your device. Do this at your own risk.
Requirements
1.      Create a backup of all your personal information, settings and data files on your device.
2.      Enable USB debugging mode on your Nexus 4 by going to the Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging.
3.      Battery level must be at least 50 per cent to avoid power interruption.
4.      Root and Unlock the Boot loader of your Nexus 4.
5.      Download the Paranoid Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Firmware and the Google Apps package.
6.      Download and install a ROM Manager app on your device.
Installation Procedure
1.      Connect your Nexus 4 to the computer using a USB cable.
2.      Copy the Paranoid Android firmware and the Google Apps package you have downloaded earlier. Do not extract any of them.
3.      Disconnect your phone from the computer.
4.      On your Nexus 4, launch the ROM manager and enter the Recovery mode.
5.      Inside the Recovery mode, create a backup of the current ROM by selecting "backup and restore > backup." Use the saved ROM to restore it anytime you desire.
6.      Select "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition". Then go to "advance > clear Dalvik cache."
7.      After the full wipe, select "install zip from SD card > choose zip from SD card" then choose the Paranoid custom ROM to install. Do the same with the Google Apps package.
8.      Once the installation is complete, go back to the main menu of the Recovery mode, then select "reboot system now." It will take up to 5 minutes for the device to run the new ROM.
Well done! Your LG Nexus 4 is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with all new features from Paranoid Android custom ROM.
For some cases of boot lopping or failure to show the home screen, simply remove the battery and reinsert it back then boot the device normally.
